Pirate Shirts --- AAARG!

Many things annoy me.

Pirate shirts are DEFINITELY one of them.

My International Male catalog came yesterday. They're still selling Pirate Shirts, for the past twenty years.

They obviously DON'T go out of style. Why, I guess people have been wearing pirate shirts since.....well, PIRATE days..

I've lived in Manhattan for almost twenty years and I've seen a lot. Head to toe black in a heat wave in July, guys dressed as Joanne Worley, even total nudity. But never, outside of Halloween, have I seen someone on the streets or the bars wear a pirate shirt.

My friend from LA and I were talking.

"Do they wear pirate shirts in the bars in LA?"

"God, NO....we always thought they must be wearing them in New York!"

So, maybe it's the people in OHIO who THINK that people in New York and LA are wearing pirate shirts.

OK - LISTEN EVERYONE!!!

NO ONE WEARS PIRATE SHIRTS! NO. ONE. get it?

Stop buying them! Save your money - give it to the poor instead!

Granted, I probably just insulted some guy in Claverack who has a whole closet full of pirate shirts.

My question to him would be....

"Dude, when was the last time you got laid?"
