Canned Ham in Albany - Sat - April 3rd - 8pm

...and you thought he was just a waiter at the Red Dot.....

"Canned Ham" is a one-man show that recounts the adventures of Tom Judson (a.k.a. gay porn star "Gus Mattox") who went into the gay adult film industry at age 43, directly from the cast of the Broadway show "42nd Street" with an established a career as an actor both on and off-Broadway, and as a composer of music for films and television, including "Metropolitan," MTV and even "Sesame Street."

During the show Tom recalls working with Teri Hatcher, Rob Marshall (the director of "Chicago") Charles Busch, Ann Magnuson and many others before making an unexpected splash as porn star "Gus Mattox", still the oldest recipient of the GayVN Performer of the Year Award, the porn industry's Oscars.

Tom explains what it's really like on the set of a porn movie and that being a male escort can have some surprisingly touching moments. The show contains musical numbers during which Tom accompanies himself on the accordion. "Canned Ham" is R-rated: it contains graphic language and adult themes, and is, above all, a comedy.
